Leadership Team

Many hands make light work.  What makes FMF unique is our boots-on-the-ground approach.  This gives us a more accurate perspective of how to best empower the families and communities we serve.  We are committed to generational impact through education.  We are very grateful for your support and donations that make our programs possible.

Becky Rogers
President

Becky Rogers is a wife and mother of 10 who is passionate about families and education.  She is the Founder of Families Mentoring Families, as well as her own personal development company, LIFEstory Transformation. In 2014, she received a u201ccall of the heartu201d to become involved with humanitarian work in Africa.  Though it was completely impossible at the time, she followed that inspiration and FMF was born.  She is continually in awe of the miracles that show up to move FMF forward, and she is deeply grateful for the love and support of her family & friends who are the backbone of this work.

Tom Rogers
Managing Director
Tom Rogers is a business owner and fitness professional.  He has extensive experience in management and, as such, is a fantastic father of 10 children and 4 grands (so far).  In 2017, Tom and Becky moved to Ghana with their 5 youngest children so they could better assess needs and implement the FMF programs on the ground.  Tom is an incredible example of sacrifice and commitment to the vision and purpose of FMF!  His hobbies include movies and basketball.
LaReita Berky
Vice President of Operations

LaReita Berky is a wife of an entrepreneur, and mother of 6 sons.  She graduated 20 years ago from San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Bachelors of Music in Cello Performance.  She had a private studio, performed as principal cellist with the Utah Valley Symphony, Utah Baroque Ensemble, and was the chair for the Utah Valley String Festival for 17 years.  All of that changed when in 2016 she started talking with Becky Rogers about Africa and humanitarian work. LaReita has been to Ghana 7 times (as of 2020), each time taking some family members with her.  She recently sustained an irreversible ear injury that makes it impossible to continue her musical career.  LaReita is completing a Masters of Social Work with the intent of international social work and a trauma focus.  Her social work education, training, and hands-on experience bring a unique perspective to Families Mentoring Families to achieve their goals.

Jerilyn Brown
Vice President of Marketing
Jerilyn Brown teaches people with disabilities, runs a skincare/makeup business and is the owner of Your Kind Mind.  When she isn’t busy working with FMF, you can find her in her classroom or in her studio where she sews, plays with makeup, teaches women the process of becoming their own best friend and promotes being kinder than necessary to yourself so you can be kinder than necessary to others.
